Buntine
Transition Minerals has identified anomalous polymetallic mineralisation along a 9 km strike length of exposed Palaeoproterozoic sedimentary rocks. The outcropping mineralisation occurs within its 100%-held Buntine Project tenements in the Birrindudu Basin (western Northern Territory) which lie within 5 km of the Buntine Highway and approximately 300 km SSE of the Port of Wyndham, Western Australia.
Laboratory analyses of rock chip samples contain manganese (Mn) exceeding the laboratory reporting threshold of 10%, lead (Pb) to 1%, cobalt (Co) to 0.18%, and nickel (Ni) to 0.71%. In particular, the northern portion of the corridor appears particularly anomalous in cobalt.
